Spring into Freshness: Top Scents to Diffuse this Season

Spring into Freshness: Top Scents to Diffuse this Season

Spring is finally here, and after the long and dreary winter, it's time to freshen up our homes and lift our spirits. 🌷☺️

One of my favorite ways to do this is by using essential oils and diffusing them throughout my home. Not only do they smell amazing, but they can also have a positive impact on our mood and well-being.

I ditched candles years ago for my diffuser because, it's safer with kids, better for your health, and I love being able to customize the smells to what we like! If you are interested in learning more about this check out my blog on 7 Reasons Why I Ditched Candles.

In this blog post, I'm going to share with you my top scents to diffuse this season to help you "Spring into Freshness."

1. Lemon
Lemon is one of my all-time favorite essential oils, and it's perfect for spring. 🍋 Its bright, citrusy scent is uplifting and refreshing, and it can also help to purify the air. Lemon is great for diffusing in the morning ☀️ to help wake you up and start your day off on the right foot. It's also a fantastic oil to use when you're cleaning your home, 🫧 as it can help to eliminate odors and leave your space smelling fresh and clean.

2. Lavender
Lavender is another essential oil that I absolutely love. My family calls it the "swiss army knife" of oils because it has so many uses and benefits. Its floral, calming scent is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, 🧘‍♀️ and it's great for diffusing in the evening before bed. 🛏️ Diffusing lavender can help to promote a sense of calm and relaxation, so it's great for occasional stress and/or anxiety.

3. Peppermint
Peppermint is a refreshing and invigorating essential oil that is really great year-round. Its cooling, minty scent can help to clear your mind and improve focus, 🧠 making it the perfect oil to diffuse when you need to get things done. Peppermint is also a number one oil choice to wake you up in the morning! ☀️ Pop this oil in your diffuser first thing and I promise you will be starting off your day with more energy and focus! Try it and let me know what you think!

PRO TIP: I actually really love diffusing the above three together too!! We call it LLP (Lemon, Lavender, + Peppermint). It smells so deliciously good, and it has some really cool health benefits. Join our FREE Breathe Easy Challenge this April to find out what those benefits are!

4. Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is a powerful essential oil that is bound to become one of your spring time favorites. Its fresh, invigorating scent can help to open up your airways 🫁 and promote respiratory health. Eucalyptus is also a fantastic oil to use if you're feeling run down or fatigued, as it can help to boost energy levels and may improve mental clarity.

PRO TIP: put a drop of this oil in your shower 🚿 in the morning for a refreshing start to your day! You can also grab some fresh eucalyptus from your local farmers market and hang it in your shower for a similar effect.

5. Grapefruit
Grapefruit is a bright and cheerful essential oil. Its sweet, citrusy scent can help to uplift your mood and promote a sense of happiness and well-being. 🙂 Grapefruit is also a great oil to supplement your workout routine 🏃‍♀️ if you're looking to lose weight or improve your digestion, as it can help to curb cravings and support healthy digestion.
