Elevate Your Chakra Practice with Essential Oils and Crystals

Elevate Your Chakra Practice with Essential Oils and Crystals

✨ Are you wondering if your energy could use a tune up?

✨ Are you looking for a simple solution to add to your daily routine that would help balance your energy centers?

Well, if so then this blog post is for you!

Over the last several years I have become more interested in learning about energy and how it affects our mind 🧠, body 🏃‍♀️, and soul ❤️. It is so fascinating to me that every living thing is made up of energy and how everything holds a vibrational frequency ✨. There are many studies on energy, yet at the same time we seem to hear so little about it and certainly don’t prioritize its importance for our health and well being 😞. At least not mainstream in western civilization.

In today’s blog I would like to chat a bit about chakras. ✨ My guess is that you already know a little about chakras if you are reading this, but I want to share with you some ideas for incorporating essential oils and crystals into your chakra practice to enhance it even more! 😍

WHAT IS A CHAKRA
For any chakra newbies reading this, let’s first start with what a chakra is 👉🏼 the word chakra comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “disk”. According to the Chopra Center, founded by Deepok Chopra, MD, these chakras are described as swirling wheels of energy 🌀 that correspond to massive nerve centers in the body. These nerve centers have an effect on our major organs as well as our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states. 💫

We have seven main chakras that run along the midline of the body. These chakras are said to be constantly moving energy and when they become blocked or misaligned 😬, we begin to experience issues as a physical manifestation in the body 😔. We can also feel disconnected from ourselves. For example someone experiencing grief who is unable to process this emotion may come down with bronchitis or chest pains.

Eastern methods of medicine that focus on energy recommend that we keep these energy channels open and flowing properly to ensure optimal health and well being. ❤️ When our chakras are balanced and flowing freely, we feel energized, clear-headed, and centered. 🧘‍♀️

So, how can we maintain chakra health and balance?

CHAKRA BALANCING
Fortunately, there are many tools we can use to balance our chakras, including…

✨ Awareness
✨ Meditation
✨ Essential Oils
✨ Crystals
✨ Yoga
✨ Reikc
✨ Tai Chi
✨ Color Therapy
✨ Affirmations + Mindset Work
✨ Acupuncture + Acupressure
+ more!

Two that I plan to focus on in this blog are essential oils (aromatherapy) and crystals

Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts 🌱 that can support our physical and emotional health in a variety of ways.

Crystals are natural mineral formations 💎 that can help us connect with the earth's energy and our own inner wisdom.

Both of which hold specific energetic frequencies that can help elevate our own frequency, and when combined these modalities can create a powerful synergy 💫 that elevates our practice, our frequency, and helps us achieve greater overall harmony and well-being. 🧘‍♀️

FUN FACT: Did you know that Rose essential oil vibrates at 320 MHz?! 🌹✨

Below are some tips for balancing each of the seven chakras, using practices 🧘‍♀️, essential oils 🌱, and crystals 💎 for each one. Please note: many essential oils and many crystals can be paired for each chakra, these are just a few suggestions and my personal favs. Also, like I teach at my events...
we are very intuitive beings

and therefore, if you feel drawn to a specific crystal or essential oil to be paired with a specific chakra then always go with your gut instinct. It doesn’t usually steer us wrong. 😉

THE CHAKRAS

 Root Chakra (Muladhara)

The root chakra is located at the base of the spine and is associated with our sense of stability, security, and grounding. When this chakra is balanced, we feel safe, supported, and connected to our physical body and the earth.

Tip 1: Practice speaking your truth and setting clear boundaries.

Tip 2: Use clarifying essential oils such as eucalyptus, peppermint, or tea tree.

Tip 3: Carry or wear blue crystals such as lapis lazuli, blue lace agate, or aquamarine.

 Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

The third eye chakra is located between the eyebrows and is associated with our intuition, insight, and wisdom. When this chakra is balanced, we feel connected to our inner guidance and able to trust our instincts.

Tip 3: Carry or wear clear or white crystals such as clear quartz, selenite, or diamond.

My personal favorites for this chakra are: Frankincense and Quartz.

TIP FOR INCORPORATING
My personal favorite way to incorporate these essential oils and crystals into my chakra work is to create essential oil roller blends for each chakra that include crystal chips. This makes it easy to apply them to each chakra (or the specific chakra you may be working on at the moment).

Come DIY with me!

In fact, I am having an event toward the end of this month where we will DIY these 7 mini rollers along with a salt cave experience. Check out the info below 👇

If you are local and interEstes, come join us at the Southtown Salt Cave in Hamburg, NY on Monday, May 22nd for a magical night of Essential Oil Chakra DIYs + a Salt Cave Experience! ✨
